These pages were created, like most of this site, just to help me learn some mathematics. I wanted to learn this bit of math to help me on my quest to create organic-looking motion.

I looked at a number of websites to try to find formulas for some of the things i wanted to do. I couldn't find everything i was looking for, though, so this page will probably continue to grow as i find more information.

All of the animations on these pages were created using parametric equations. They are all composed of two functions, one determining the x position and one determining the y position, based on a time value.
